Pascuallab initiated its first CSR Volunteerism Project in November 2008.
Dubbed as the Isang Sanggunian, Isang Pananaw or ISIPambata…Kalinga Para sa Mga Batang Pilipino Project, the endeavor succeeded in helping children who were victims of abuse and who have special needs.
Pascuallab’s Labor-Management Council, in coordination with Pascuallab’s CSR Team and Pharex held the one-day activity at the Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC) in Quezon City, located at the back of SM North EDSA.
The day started with a morning program where Pascuallab donated various items to the children. A storytelling activity by Phil Aganinta of the Consumer Healthcare Division and a colorful magic show followed later in the day.
All 112 employees who joined the event volunteered to help the Center in whatever way they could.
Some of them engaged in painting of gutters, gardening and cleaning of the yard. Others spent time with infants and toddlers at the nursery rooms.
The experience brought joy and hope to both the children at the Center and to Pascuallab employees.
